What is your motivation to volunteer for community development?
My motivation is to see this nation clean. It sadens me to see plastic bags thrown away choking the gutters like it is right now, after over 50 years of independence. it is heart breaking to see that in Ghana today there are so many girls of school going age working as headporters, because it makes me realise that they have no chance of getting any education and they will have a hard future.Their inability educating themselves and their children will affect the next generation of this country. I want to make sure that the next generation will be educated by taking care of this generation.
What do you think is the biggest problem in your community?
Lack of community organising.
How do you think it can be solved?
The problem can be solved when our communites are well organised and well educated in social issues.
How do you want to contribute?
I can contribute by initiating this organisation and the dialogue that is needed to adress all the issues that have been neglected over the last few years.
